In Use: Klavika for NBC
In 2006 the young studio Capacity won the NBC pitch to redesign the on-screen identity of TV network’s fall season. Last year the designers received two Golds and one Bronze BDA award at the Promax & BDA conference for their outstanding rebrand. Certainly the striking typeface Klavika by Eric Olson is jointly responsible for their success.

I presume that isn’t the font that NBC is getting sued over…. or is it? http://cityfile.com/dailyfile/7508
I think this is a solid rebrand. Really great stuff. I’ve appreciated it while watching on Thursday nights.
Great on-screen font, perfect for television.
Nope – Eric Olson releases his typefaces through his own foundry Process Type Foundry, not The Font Bureau, Inc.
In Belgium commercial television station VTM also uses Klavika, both in advertising and for onscreen branding. And their second channel 2BE consistently uses the alternates of Vista Sans.
BTW I once micro-reviewed Klavika for Typographica.
