Bold Formal Scripts
We get a lot of requests for fancy scripts. A font with a calligraphic touch is often the best option for formal invitations, wedding announcements, and phony high school diplomas. The problem with these scripts is that most are very light, making them impractical for use at small sizes or reversed against dark backgrounds. Here are some script fonts that add some heft without losing class:
- Ballantines Script
- Commercial Script
- ITC Edwardian Script
- Greyton Script
- Kuenstler Script
- URW Polonaise
- Sloop
- Snell Roundhand
